February 2008 Beaded Hexagon Bracelet Project
You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beaded project and other project. This month, I would like to feature the instruction on a beaded hexagon bracelet made with Japanese glass beads using the triangle weave technique.

Beaded Hexagon Bracelet

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Beaded Hexagon Bracelet

What you need:
1)  Size 11/0 glass beads
2)  Beading string (0.25mm)  
Always pull tight on every step!
Step 1:
  • Cut one piece of string around 12 to 15 centimeter long.

    Click HERE and follow the instructions there to make around 7 or 8 pieces of hexagon beaded pieces (depending on the length of the bracelet you want to make)
Step 2:
  • Cut another piece of string around 1 meter long.

    Click HERE and follow the instructions to make the beaded clasps head (the ball side first).

    Do not cut away excess threads.
Step 3:
  • Continue from the thread left from making the beaded ball clasps:

    Add one bead on each side of the string, combine the two threads, add two beads on both of the string together.

    Pass both string (now acting together as one) through the first piece of hexagon piece you made from step one. Pass the strings through the four beads that are aligned straight as shown.

    Add 3 new beads and add another hexagon piece the same way, keep repeating this until you get the bracelet length you nee and use the remaining string to make the end of the clasps (click on the link in step 2).
