This month's project is a 3-D beaded rabbit charm, made with Japanese glass seed beads using the Right Angle Weave technique (RAW). Great as a Easter fashion accessory charm, a jewelry gift or gift. Beaded Rabbit Tutorial

Step 18:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead on the top (red) string, crisscross the bottom (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through the one bead from step 9 and 11. (marked with A).
Step 19:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the top (black) string, crisscross the bottom (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through the three beads from step 11, 12 and 13. (marked with A, B and C).
Step 20:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead on the right (red) string, crisscross the left (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one bead from step 13 (marked with A).
Step 21:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the right (black) string, crisscross the left (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through the three beads from step 13, 14 and 15. (marked with A, B and C).
Step 22:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead on the bottom (red) string, crisscross the top (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through two beads from step 15 and 16 (marked with A and B).
Step 23:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead on the bottom (black) string, crisscross the top (red) string through the last added bead. 
Step 24:

You should be finished with the head (without the ears yet).

Before you continue to bead the body of the rabbit, pass the top (black) line through the three beads marked A, B and C and back up the same bead that you started off with. Pull tight and you should have a four bead circle at the neck area.

Do not cut away excess threads, you will be continuing from the same threads from where you just stopped at.

Step 25: The Body:
(The light colored four bead circle in the center represents the four beads from step 24 - the neck)
  • Continue to:

    Add four beads on the bottom (red) string, crisscross the top (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one beads from step 24 (marked with A).
Step 26:
  • Continue to:

    Add four beads on the left (black) string, crisscross the right (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through the one bead from step 24. (marked with A).
Step 27:
  • Continue to:

    Add four beads on the top (red) string, crisscross the bottom (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through two beads from step 24 and 25 (marked with A and B).
Step 28:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the left (red) string, crisscross the right (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one bead from step 27 (marked with A).
Step 29:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the right (red) string, crisscross the left (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through two beads from step 28 and 25 (marked with A and B).
  • NOTE: the first bead you added in this step (shown with the darker colored bead) will be where you will be adding one side of the paw / hand.
Step 30:
  • Continue to:

    Add three beads on the bottom (black) string, crisscross the top (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through the two beads from step 25 and 26. (marked with A and B).
Step 31:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead on the bottom (red) string, crisscross the top (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to crisscross) through one bead from step 30 (marked with A).
  • NOTE: the bead you added in this step (shown with the darker colored bead) will be where you will be adding the other side of the paw / hand.
Step 32:
  • Continue to:

    Add four beads on the bottom (black) string, crisscross the top (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through the one bead from step 26. (marked with A).
Step 33:
  • Continue to:

    Add three beads on the left (red) string, crisscross the right (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one bead from step 26 (marked with A).
