	Here's a list of FREE kid Art and Science project, to help promote creativity and imagination with these arts and craft project and arts craft idea made from simple recycled materials. This month May 2009 make a Air Rocket with simple materials found around the house.

Project of the Month (May)

Make your own Air Rocket

You will Need:
1) Cardboard Roll Core.
2) One round piece of plastic bag or paper
     (Slightly bigger than the circumference of
      the cardboard core).
3) Rubber band or sticky tape.
3)  One long shape balloon (used to make
      balloon animals).

Step 1:

Cut a round piece of plastic bag or paper (use a mug to help you trace a round circle to cut)

Use the rubber band or sticky tape to tie or tape the plastic bag or round paper to one end of the cardboard roll core.

Step 2:

Insert the long balloon into the tube you just made.

Start inflating the balloon with air, either by blowing or by pump.

Once the balloon is tightly fitted inside the tube, you are ready to launch.

Ask your friends to make one each and have a competition to see whose rocket flies the furthers or highest.
