November 2009 Beaded Christmas Santa Claus Charm Project.

You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beaded tutorials and other project. This month's project is a beaded 3D Santa Claus charm, made with Japanese glass seed beads and Swarovski Crystal using triangle weave Beading technique.

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Beaded Santa Claus Charm :

What you need:

1)   Glass seed beads, size 11/0 black, red and white color. One orange crystal  
      bicone for nose
2)   Beading string (0.25mm)
3)   One 3mm or 4mm bead or felt / cotton / fabric ball to be the filling of the 
      pumpkin. One long eye pin. Round and flat tip pliers for bending eye pin.

Always Remember to pull tight on EVERY STEP.

Santa Claus Charm Tutorial
Step 1: Cut a piece string around half a meter long.
  • Add one red bead on the exact center of the string, add two more red beads on one side the crisscross the other end through the last added bead.
    Make sure this 3 bead ring is centralized at the center of the string.
Step 2:
  • Continue to:

    Add two red beads on the bottom (black) string, crisscross the top (blue) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one old bead from step 1 (marked A).
Step 3:
  • Continue to:

    Add one red bead on one of the string, crisscross the other string through this new bead added.
Step 4:
  • Continue to:

    Add two red beads on the right (black) string, crisscross the left (blue) string through the last bead added.
Step 5:
  • Continue to:

    Add one white and one red beads on the top (blue) string, crisscross the bottom (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the blue string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one old bead from step 1 (marked A).
Step 6:
  • Continue to:

    Add one red bead on one of the string, crisscross the other string through this new bead added.
Step 7:
  • Continue to:

    Add one white and one red beads on the left (blue) string, crisscross the right (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the blue string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one old bead from step 2 (marked A).
Step 8:
  • Continue to:

    Add one red bead on the right (black) string, crisscross the left (blue) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new bead on) through one old bead from step 4 (marked A).
Step 9:
  • Continue to:

    Add one white bead on one of the string, crisscross the other string through this new bead added.
Step 10:
  • Continue to:

    Add three red beads on the right (black) string, crisscross the left (blue) string through the last red bead added.
Step 11:
  • Continue to:

    Add one white bead on the bottom (black) string, add two red beads on the top (blue) string, crisscross the bottom (black) string (the one you added the white bead on) through the last red bead added.
    Continue to pass the (blue) string (the one you added red beads on) through one old bead from step 5 (marked A).
Step 12:
  • Continue to:

    Add one white and one black beads on the left (black) string, crisscross the right (blue) string through the last black bead added.
Step 13:
  • Continue to:

    Add one white bead on the top (black) string, add one 3mm orange crystal bicone and one black bead on the bottom (blue) string, crisscross the top (black) string (the one you added the white bead on) through the last black bead added.
    Continue to pass the (blue) string (the one you added crystal and black bead on) through one white old bead from step 7 (marked A).
Step 14:
  • Continue to:

    Add one white and one red beads on the bottom (black) string, crisscross the top (blue) string through the last red bead added.
Step 15:
  • Continue to:

    Add one white bead on the left (black) string, continue to pass this (black) string through one old red bead from step 10 (marked A).
    Add one new red bead to crisscross both strings through. (shown where both arrows exits)
Step 16:
  • Continue to:

    Add two red beads on the bottom (black) string, crisscross the top (blue) string through the last bead added.
Step 17:
  • Continue to:

    Add two red beads on the right (blue) string, crisscross the left (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the blue string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one old bead from step 10 (marked A).
Step 18:
  • Continue to:

    Add one red bead on one of the string, crisscross the other string through this new bead added.
Step 19:
  • Continue to:

    Add two red beads on the top (blue) string, crisscross the bottom (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the blue string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one old bead from step 11 (marked A).
Step 20:
  • Continue to:

    Add one red bead on one of the string, crisscross the other string through this new bead added.
