 Decreasing Right Angle Weave Instruction

Decreasing Right Angle Weave

Notes before you start: You experiment with different types of beads like seed beads, bugle etc.  The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.  You can use a string and needle or Nylon fishing line (0.25mm) without the needle.

Two types of Decreasing method is featured here for increasing right angle weave.


Decreasing Right Angle Weave on the outside edges:

Start the next row that you want to decrease by stringing the line through the bottom bead of the last ring, add 3 beads and loop the line back through the bottom hanging bead from the previous row.
Continue beading as usual and remember to stop one ring before reaching the end of the row.
Decrease whenever you need to using the same method.
Decreasing Right Angle Weave from within:
When you reach the middle of the row you want to decrease, add 2 beads but string the line through 2 top beads from the above row as shown, loop the line back through the new beads and continue beading as usual.
Decrease whenever you need to using the same method.
