Increasing Square Stitch |
Notes before you start: For beginners, start with the Flat Square Stitch Instruction. The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces. You can use a string and needle or Nylon fishing line (0.22mm) without the needle. Two method of increasing on the square stitch are featured below: |

At the end of the row you want to increase on, add the number of beads (can be one, two or any number), string the (number of bead rows you want to add) the picture shows an adding of two beads and add a third bead before looping the line back through the bead directly above it and back through the no. 3 bead again. | ||
When you reach the end of the this row, add the same number of beads you added in the beginning of the row and add one more (no.3 bead) on top instead of bottom and loop back the bead below, repeat this for all the added beads. End off by looping the line back to the last bead of the last row so that you can start a new beading row. |
