Beaded Jewelry Clasps

What you need:

1)    Nylon Fishing line (Any size less than 0.25mm) 
2)    Beads
3)    Scissors

Step 1: Cut a piece of fishing line (around 15 cm, depending on your bead size), string 5 beads and cross the string on the 5th bead and pull to tighten (rep by the red bead)

String another 4 beads on one end of the line and cross the string at the last bead. Tighten and string the line near the first bead circle (red) back to the second bead of the first five bead circle.

Step 2: Continue to add 3 beads and cross the line through the last added bead.

String the line nearest to the first bead circle (red) back through the bead next to the last bead added.

Step 3: Continue to add 3 beads and cross the line through the last added bead.

String the line nearest to the first bead circle (red) back through the bead next to the last bead added.

Now you should know the sequence so continue adding 3 beads again and repeat the above step.

The last step for now is to add 2 beads (not 3) and finish off again by crossing at the last added bead and string the end nearest to the next blue bead.

Step 4: String 3 beads and cross the  line through the last added bead.

String the line nearest to this bead  back through 2 beads (Blue) next to the last bead added.

Step 5: String 2 beads and cross the line through the last added bead.

String the line nearest to this bead  back through 2 beads (Blue) next to the last bead added.

Repeat this step for two more times 

For the last step add one bead and cross the lines through this bead

Step 6: By now you should get a round bead ball, tie off and string the remaining string back into the beaded ball (no sequence).

You can now attach a new string to any bead from the bead ball and start making your necklace or bracelet.

Step 7: After finishing your jewelry piece, end off by stringing 15 to 25 beads (measure around your bead ball) to form a loop and tie off.
