November 2006 Beaded Pearl Ring Project

You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beaded project and other project. This month, I would like to feature the instruction on a elegance beaded pearl and bugle ring that you can make for yourself or your love ones.

Beaded Pearl Ring

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Beaded Ring

What you need:

1)    Silver White bugle (size: 11/0)
2)    Pearls (size 3mm)
3)    Beading string 0.25mm

Step 1: Cut a piece of thread around half a meter long.

Add one pearl at the middle of the string (balance out both end to make them the same length)

Follow by adding one long bugle on each end of the string (a total of two to be added here).

Add one pearl on one end of the string and cross the other end through the same pearl so that the strings are crisscrossed inside the hole of the pearl.
Step 2: Add one long bugle on each end of the string (a total of two to be added here).

Add one pearl on one end of the string and cross the other end through the same pearl so that the strings are crisscrossed inside the hole of the pearl.

Repeat this step 2 and bead until you get the length you need (measure around a finger while you are beading).
Step 3:

Joining:

Remember to stop when you are about half a centimeter near your required ring size / length.

You should have stopped at where the strings are crisscrossed at a pearl (shown as in the bottom pearl)

Add one bugle one each end of the string, crisscross both strings through the first pearl added in step 1 (the very first pearl where you started off with).

Loop the string through the piece and tie off, you can loop the strings further through the piece after tying off as this will ensure a stronger ring that would not break off so easily.
