This month's project is a 3-D beaded Chihuahua dog, made with Japanese glass seed beads using the Right Angle Weave technique (RAW). Great as a fashion accessory charm or as a jewelry gift. This is a continual from page 1 of the tutorial.

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Always Remember to pull tight on EVERY STEP.

Step 18:
  • Continue to:

    Add two brown beads on the bottom (red) string, crisscross the top (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you used to add new beads on) through the three top beads (Marked A, B and C).
Step 19:
  • Continue to:

    Add one brown bead on the bottom (black) string, crisscross the top (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you used to add new beads on) through the top bead (Marked A). Continue to pass the other string (red) through the bottom two beads (Marked A and B).
Step 20:

    Add two brown beads on the bottom (red) string, crisscross the top (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you used to add new beads on) through the three top beads (Marked A, B and C).
Step 21:
  • Continue to:

    Add one brown bead on the right (black) string, crisscross the left (red) string through the last added bead.
Step 22:
  • Continue to:

    To pass the top right red string through the four brown beads (Marked A, B, C and D) and pass the bottom left black string through the one bead marked D.
  • Now you should have a round ball shape head with two eyes (nose will be added on later).
  • Before you continue to the body of the Chihuahua, look at this picture to the right: the 6 bead circle you see is from the bottom of the dog's head that you have completed and it's also where you will be continue to bead and attach the body from. The red dot is where both your threads are crisscrossed at right now - where you left off from step 22.

    Add four brown beads on the top (red) string, crisscross the bottom (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you used to add new beads on) through the one brown bead from the head (Marked A).
Step 24:

    Add four brown beads on the right (black) string, crisscross the left (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you used to add new beads on) through the one top bead (Marked A).
Step 25:
  • Continue to:

    Add three brown beads on the bottom (red) string, crisscross the top (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you used to add new beads on) through top brown bead (Marked A).
Step 26:

    Add two brown beads and one white bead on the bottom left (black) string, crisscross the top right (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you used to add new beads on) through the one top bead (Marked A).
Step 27:

    Add three white beads on the left (red) string, crisscross the right (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you used to add new beads on) through two brown beads (Marked A and B).
Step 28:
  • Continue to:

    Add two brown beads on the top (black) string, crisscross the bottom (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you used to add new beads on) through the one bottom bead (Marked A).
Step 29:
  • Continue to:

    Add four brown beads on the top (red) string, crisscross the bottom (black) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the red string (the one you used to add new beads on) through two brown beads (Marked A and B).
Step 30:

    Add two brown beads on the right (black) string, crisscross the left (red) string through the last added bead. Continue to pass the black string (the one you used to add new beads on) through the one bottom bead (Marked A).
Step 31:
  • TAIL:Continue to:

    Add two brown beads on the left (black) string, pass the string back through the first bead added and further back through the bead where you started off with (shown where the black arrow is coming out of).
