January 2008 Beaded Crystal Bead Pendant Project
You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beaded project and other project. This month, I would like to feature the instruction on a beaded bead crystal pendant made with Swarovski crystal and Japanese glass seed beads.

Beaded Bead Crystal Pendant

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Beaded Bead Crystal Ball Pendant

What you need:
1)  9 pcs 4mm crystal bicone
2)  size 11/0 black glass seed bead
3)  Beading string (0.25mm)
Always pull tight on every step!
Step 1:
  • Cut one piece of string around 12 to 15 centimeter long.

    Add three crystals and three beads in random order as shown on the string. Make three of these, two of which you will tie off and cut away excess but the third one you make with longer string of around 1/2 meter and do not tie off or cut away excess.
Step 2:
  • Continue from the third piece made from step 1 by:

    Adding on each side of the string, three beads (total of six beads).
    Pass the left (blue) string through one seed bead from the second beaded circle piece from step 1 and pass the right black string through another one of the seed bead from the same piece (shown where the black arrow is coming out from).
Step 3:
  • Continue to:

    Add three beads on each side of the string and pass each side of the string through one different seed bead from the starting piece from step 2. Each string to go through the beads shown where each arrows are coming out from.
Step 4:
  • Continue by:

    Adding three beads on each side of the string, a total of six beads and crisscross both strings through the one same bead from the second piece of bead circle (shown where both arrows are coming out from). Pull tight.
  • Now repeat step 2 to step 4 again for the last piece of beaded circle that's not yet attached to the beaded crystal bead. Tie off and you have a beautiful oval / barrel shaped crystal beaded bead pendant. Simply pass a thin necklace chain through the center of the bead and you can wear it anywhere.
