February 2010 Beaded 3D Crystal Rhinestone Heart Project.

You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beading tutorials and other project. This month's project is a beaded 3D crystal rhinestone heart, made with 4 hole crystal rhinestone beads of different sizes using right angle weave Beading technique. Great as a Valentine's day project or gift!

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Make sure this 4 rhinestones bead ring is centralized at the center of the string.
Step 2:

Add one 2mm rhinestone bead on each side of the string (total of two), add one last 3mm rhinestone bead to crisscross both strings through.
Step 3:

  • Now leave this piece aside (do not tie off or cut away excess strings yet).
  • Make another piece exactly the same from step 1 to step 5.

Step 6:

Using the remainder of the string left on one of the heart. Add one silver beads on the top (black) string.

Continue each side of the string through one old rhinestone bead from each side of the hearts. (remember to let the crystal side face out)

Repeat step 7 two more times. (shown by the first two beads added in the above diagram).
  • Continue to:

Add one 2mm rhinestone beads on each side of the string, continue to pass each side of the string through an old rhinestone beads from each side of the heart.
  • Continue to:

Repeat step 7 again until you reached the first seed beads you added on step 6.
  • Tie off and add a pendant claw hook if you want to wear it as a pendant or make two and add earring hooks to wear them as earrings, I still added the pendant hook although I used it as a phone charm.
