bead jewelry making - beaded flower making

June 2011 Beaded Watermelon Project.

You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beading tutorials and other project. This month's project is a 3D beaded watermelon, made with Japanese glass seed beads using right angle weave Beading technique. Great as earrings, pendant or simply as a charm. This is page three of the full Beaded Watermelon Tutorial!

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Step 44:
  • Before you continue:

You should have completed a beaded figure like the left side picture above!
Now you would fold the watermelon that you finished beading into half and get the figure on the right.
The blue dot is where you stopped at.
The numbering is important as they will be the beads you need to use for passing through in the next few steps to come, so you may need to constantly refer back to this diagram.
