Beaded Christmas flower leaf bracts:
What you need:
1) Size 11/0 seed beads (green) One 3mm red or orange bead. 2) Beading wire (0.25mm) and brooch pin.
Always Remember to pull tight on EVERY STEP.

Step 1: |

Cut a piece of wire around one meter long:
Add two beads, crisscross the wires through the last bead added, add one more bead, crisscross the wires through this new bead added, add one more bead and do the same crisscrossing. You should have four beads lined up in a neat straight line.

Continue to:
Add six beads on each side of the wire, add one last bead to crisscross both wires through.

Add bead to crisscross both wires through.

Add ten beads on each side of the wire. Pass both wires (crisscross) through one old bead (marked
A). Continue to pass both wires (crisscross) through one more old bead (marked B).

Add fourteen beads on each side of the wire. Add one more bead to crisscross both wires through. Pass the wires crisscross one old bead marked
A. Pass the wires back up the last bead you just added on this step.
After this repeat step 3 one time.

Continue to:
Add on the right (black) wire, seven beads, loop the same wire back up through the second last bead added.
Repeat this one more time.

Continue to: (working on the same side of the wire as step 6)
Add six more beads and pass this wire down through one old bead marked A.
Repeat for the other side of the top (red) wire from step 6 to step 7). Do not cut away excess wires, just pull tight.
After you have finish repeating for the opposite side, you have one leaf petal. Make two more leaf petal by repeating step 1 to step 7)

Continue to:
Choose one of the longest excess wire from the six excess wires and pass it through the end beads of all three leafs as shown.

- Cut a piece of short wire:
Add one 3mm bead followed by one red 12/0 seed bead, loop the wire back through the first 3mm bead added. This is the center piece.

Step 10: |
- Insert the center piece into the middle of the wire hole you made on step 8.
Now twist all the wires together at the joints slightly before tying on to a brooch pin.
