February 2009 Beaded Heart Basket Project.
You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beaded tutorials and other project. This month's project is a beaded heart shape basket, made with Japanese glass seed beads using right angle weave Beading technique.
The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Beaded Heart Basket :

What you need:

1)   Glass seed beads, size 11/0
2)   Beading string (0.25mm)

Always Remember to pull tight on EVERY STEP.

Heart Basket Tutorial
Step 1: Cut a piece of beading string around one meter long.
  • Add three beads on the middle of the string, crisscross both string through the last added bead, shown where both arrows exits from.
Step 2:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead on each side of the string and one last bead to crisscross both strings with. (total of 3 beads added in this step).

    Repeat this exact step 5 more times.
Step 3:
  • (after repeating step 2 five more times) Continue to:

    Add three beads on the left (red) string and crisscross the other end of the string through the last bead added.

    After this repeat step 2 six more times.

Step 4:
  • (after repeating step 2 six more times) Continue to:

    Add two beads on the bottom right (black) string, crisscross the left (red) string through the last bead added.
Step 5:
  • Continue to:

    (Using only one end of the string in this step) Add three beads on the right (red) string and pass the same string back up through the first bead you added on this step.
Step 6:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the top (red) string, crisscross the bottom (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through one old bead from step 4 marked with A.

    Repeat this step 4 more times.
Step 7:
  • (after repeating step 6 four more times) Continue to:

    Add two beads on the top (black) string, crisscross the bottom (red) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through two old beads from step 4 marked with A and B.
Step 8:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead on the right (red) string, crisscross the other string through this bead.
    Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one old bead from step 3 marked with A.
Step 9:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the right (black) string and crisscross the other end of the string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through one old bead from step 3 marked with A.

    Repeat this step four more times.
Step 10:
  • (after repeating step 9 four more times) Continue to:

    Add two beads on the top right (black) string and crisscross the other red string through the last added bead.
Step 11:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the left (black) string and crisscross the other end of the string through the last bead added.
Step 12:
  • Continue to:

    Add three beads on the top (red) string and crisscross the bottom (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through one old bead from step 10 marked with A.
Step 13:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the top (black) string and crisscross the other end of the string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through one old bead from step 10 marked with A.

    Repeat this step three more times.
Step 14:
  • (after repeating step 13 three more times) Continue to:

    Add two beads on the top (black) string, crisscross the bottom (red) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through two old beads from step 10 marked with A and B.
Step 15:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead on the right (red) string, crisscross the other string through this bead.
    Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one old bead from step 9 marked with A.
Step 16:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the left (black) string and crisscross the other end of the string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through one old bead from step 8 marked with A.

    Repeat this step four more times.
Step 17:
  • (after repeating step 16 four more times) Continue to:

    Add two beads on the bottom right (black) string, crisscross the other string (red) through the last added bead.
Step 18:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the top right (red) string, crisscross the bottom left (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through one old bead from step 17 marked with A.
Step 19:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the top (black) string, crisscross the bottom (red) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through one old bead from step 17 marked with A.

    Repeat this step two more times.
Step 20:
  • (after repeating step 19 two more times) Continue to:

    Add two beads on the top (red) string, crisscross the bottom (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through two old bead from step 16 marked with A and B.
Step 21:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead on the top (black) string, crisscross the other string through this bead.
    Continue to pass the black string (the one you just used to add new beads on) through one old bead from step 14 marked with A.
Step 22:
  • Continue to:

    Add two beads on the right (red) string, crisscross the left (black) string through the last bead added.
    Continue to pass the red string (the one you just used to added new beads on) through one old bead from step 14 marked with A.

    Repeat this step one more time.
Step 23:
  • (after repeating step 22 one more time) Continue to:

    Add three beads on the left (red) string. Continue to pass the red string up through the first bead you added on this step marked with A.
Step 24:
  • Continue to:

    Add one bead to crisscross both strings through.
