September 2010 Beaded Crystal Cupcake Project

You can find a variety of Free Arts and Craft Project here, including beaded project and other project. This month, I would like to feature the instruction on a beaded 3D Crystal Cupcake made with Japanese glass seed beads and Swarovski Crystals, using right angle weave beading technique. This is page nine of the whole beaded crystal cupcake tutorial.

The pictorials are illustrated with spaces between beads for a clearer direction, in the actual beading, there should be no spaces.

Step 90: Continue to:
  • Now add one red round 4mm or 5mm crystal on to the head pin.
Leaving around one centimetre of head pin left and cut the excess head pin length away with a wire cutter.
Bent the one centimetre head pin tip with pliers, curl the tip with round head pliers from tip inwards to get a rounded ring.
Now you can just add a hook to hang as a charm or pendant, you can even make one more and use them as earrings (but I would suggest you use smaller beads and crystals for earrings).
